F1- Fernando Alonso won the Grand Prix of Spain Champ Car- Sebastien Bourdais won the Grand Prix of Houston NASCAR- Greg Biffle won the Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington


Despite poor weather, Sam Hornish Jr recorded the fastest lap in Indy Practice with a speed of 226.789 mph. Hornish has emerged as the early favorite to win the pole for the 90th running of the Indianapolis 500. Dan Wheldon was second with a speed of 226.008 mph.

Fernando Alonso won the F1 Grand Prix Of Spain. It was Alonso's 3rd win of 2006.
